Shipping Live Plants
Aroidica ships live plants with care and intention. To minimize transit time and stress, plants are shipped on designated shipping days, which are communicated at the time of purchase or within individual listings.
Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.
Packaging & Weather Considerations
Plants are carefully prepared prior to shipment and packaged to support safe transit. Depending on seasonal conditions, shipments may include insulation and heat packs when appropriate.
While every effort is made to protect plants during transit, extreme temperatures and weather conditions may still affect live plants.
Transit & Delivery
Once a package is in transit, delivery timelines are determined by the carrier. Carrier delays, weather disruptions, or rerouting may occur and are outside of our control.
Shipping fees are non-refundable. Aroidica is not responsible for delays caused by carriers or for incorrect shipping information provided at checkout.
Unboxing & Condition Upon Arrival
To protect both our customers and our plants, we strongly recommend recording an unboxing video from the moment the shipping box is opened. Unboxing videos are often required to support carrier claims and help us accurately assess shipping-related concerns.
If your plant arrives with significant damage or in poor condition, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery and include:

clear photos of the plant

the potting medium
-
the shipping box and shipping label
-
an unboxing video showing the plant being removed from the sealed box
Claims submitted without sufficient documentation may be limited in resolution.
Acclimation
Some degree of stress following shipment is normal. Temporary leaf changes, pauses in growth, or cosmetic imperfections may occur as plants adjust to a new environment.
Allow time for acclimation before making significant changes to care or placement.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of live plants, returns are not accepted.
All shipping-related concerns are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. When appropriate, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.
Minor cosmetic imperfections, leaf blemishes, or natural acclimation stress are not considered grounds for refunds or replacements.
Incorrect Address or Missed Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout. Aroidica is not responsible for packages delayed, lost, or damaged due to:

packages left unattended after delivery
